Power Rank
Everything you need to know about power rank.
Power Rank (PR) is a leveling metric that scales based on your character's total stats. It serves as a definitive measure of your strength, derived from several key sources: Class and Subclass Levels, Gems, Equipment, Banners, Allies, Vials and Emblems, as well as Ancestral and Legendary Dragons and your Mastery Rank. This progress is visually displayed via your Sigil: the shield represents your Power Rank tier, while the wings reflect your current Mastery Rank.
In the world of Trove, your level is only half the story. The true measure of your character’s strength - and your ticket to the endgame - is your Power Rank (PR). But why exactly does this number matter so much? Power Rank is a functional requirement that dictates which worlds you can enter, which enemies you can fight, and how powerful your character truly is.

What determines your Power Rank?
Your PR is a cumulative score calculated from every piece of strength your character possesses. It scales based on the acquisition of additional stats from:
Class & Subclass Levels
Gems (The most significant source of PR)
Equipment (Weapon, Hat, Face, Banners and Ring)
Allies, Vials & Emblems
Ancestral & Legendary Dragons
Mastery Rank
What does Power Rank unlock?
The higher your Power Rank, the more worlds ( Air, Fire, Water, Cosmic ), you can explore. Here is what depends on your PR:
Power Rank is a functional requirement that dictates which worlds you can enter, which enemies you can fight, and how powerful your character truly is.
World Acces (Uber 1-15)
Trove is divided into Uber Worlds. Each world has a minimum PR requirement. If you don't meet the threshold, you simply cannot enter.
Shadow Towers and Delves
To challenge the most dangerous bosses and earn weekly rewards (like Lunar Souls and Titan Souls), you need high PR. Delves scale in difficulty, and your ability to survive deeper floors is directly tied to the stats that boost your PR.
The Sigils
Your PR is publicly displayed through your Sigil. This icon changes as you hit major milestones (e.g., 5k, 10k, 20k, 45k+ PR).
Damage and Survivability
While PR is "just a number," it is built upon your actual stats (Physical/Magic Damage, Critical Hit, and Health). A high PR character clears dungeons in seconds and survives hits that would instantly defeat a lower-level player.
Power Rank is the ultimate gatekeeper in Trove.
If you are stuck at a certain PR, focus on your Gems. Upgrading and slotting the right Stellar, Crystal or Mystic is the fastest way to increase your PR and unlock more difficult worlds.
A quick example why gems are the most important things to focus on:
I took my Boomeranger as an example to see how much PR coming from the gems exactly.
My gems are responsible for the 75,56% of my Total Power Rank. This means that my gems are giving 44540 PR out of my 58960 Total PR.
Note: This isn't the highest achievable Power Rank.

Why Power Rank Matters
In the world of Trove, your level is only half the story. The true measure of your character’s strength is your PR. It is your ultimate ticket to the endgame content.
PR is a functional requirement for progression. It dictates which worlds you can enter and which enemies you can fight. Without enough PR, your exploration is limited.
What Determines Your Power Rank?
Your PR is a cumulative score. It is calculated from every piece of strength your character possesses. It scales based on the following sources:

Collections: Allies, Vials, and Emblems all contribute.

Mastery Rank: Overall account progression.

A higher PR allows you to explore more dangerous worlds. This includes Air, Fire, Water, and Cosmic realms. Each new tier offers better loot and tougher challenges.
Increasing your PR is the fastest way to master Trove. It ensures your character is truly powerful enough for any battle. Focus on upgrading your Gems and Gear to reach the highest tiers of the game.
